Silk 'n Fur

Shopping has always been my guilty pleasure, and weather, never stops me from embracing seasonal trends. 
Though I’ve lived in Hawaii a majority of my life, then LA, where most people comfortably done shorts, a cute tank, and flip flops a majority of the time, I’ve collected a number of cooler weather fashion staples throughout the years… I have an array of leather jackets from past seasons, but wanted to work some texture into my wardrobe archive.           

I spontaneously purchased this brown faux fur vest not too long ago.  Since I never have neither patience nor the self-control to wait for cooler weather, I ignored the temperature, threw a fur vest over my light silky dress, and slipped into vintage Celine stiletto booties for brunch this weekend.  I got a few weather related judgment glares from passerbys, and worked up quite a sweat parading around Manhattan Beach in a fur vest, but it was well worth it!  I guess I don’t need to be in the east coast to wear fur!
